Hello there!
I'm Daniel Brown from
YouMeAndBTC.com, a website with a variety of Bitcoin-related content and a weekly podcast. I'm here to auction off an amazing sponsorship opportunity.
By pure coincidence, our 52nd episode is scheduled for release on Christmas day. Since there are 52 weeks in a year, that episode will also mark 1 full year of podcasting, and we want to celebrate. Our plan is to run a "12 Days of YMB Christmas" promotion, featuring 12 days in a row of brand new, unique content, with a special celebration episode airing on the 12th day.
We're still brainstorming ideas for all of that content so let us know if there's something you think would be cool! We're hoping to get some old guests like Stephen Macaskill from Amagi Metals, Jeffrey Tucker from Liberty.me, Jason King from Sean's Outpost and others to rejoin us for short clips about how far Bitcoin has come in the past year. We want to get the community involved as much as possible too, so we may release a clip or two with special guests from places like this forum.
We're searching now to see if anyone is interested in sponsoring this event.
Here's what's in it for you: We will promote you significantly for 12 days in a row. Every clip that we release will include some sort of PERMANENT plug for your product or service. We will also get you some banner space on our website and promote you on social media for the same period of time. We are also hoping to run some giveaways with a portion of the sponsorship money, so every time we give anything away, you will be mentioned as our sponsor.
Thanks for considering this! Please just ask if you have any questions!
Starting bid: $10
Increments: $10+
End time: 5PM ET Dec. 12, 2014
Additional information:Bids are denominated in dollars but only Bitcoin payment will be accepted. We'll convert using the Bitstamp exchange rate at the time the payment is made. Escrow with a trusted forum member will be gladly accepted as long as you pay any fees. I also have to reserve the right to decline a sponsor for any reason. Nothing illegal or generally sketchy, please. If I have to decline a sponsor, the second place bidder will win the auction for the second place bid price.
