MoneyBookers asks on Twitter: "What is your opinion about #Bitcoin?

https://twitter.com/MoneyBookers/status/537127236881907713

Skrill (formerly Moneybookers) is an e-commerce business that allows payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet, with a focus on low-cost international money transfers. It is owned and operated by Skrill Limited, a UK-based company registered as a Money Service Business with Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and licensed to operate within the European Union.

Although I don't find this likely, it is very much possible. Looking at the feedback it is all positive, that's a good thing. Everyone who has some time on their hand, do your job.

Huh... didn't know that they're still alive... Cheesy

In fact they're pretty small Paypal-clone (only $200M Revenue) and full in line with government compliance (see Wikileaks ban).

It's hard to say this: Compared to Bitcoin, they are already insignificant. So they will die even sooner than Paypal.

I say that. PayPal will be dead within 10 years.

PayPal is no longer alone in the e-payments space (e.g. Apple pay). So Bitcoin is not the only competition, but will ultimately become the fiercest. PayPal has to fight on multiple fronts. The days of high fees are counted.

That's why eBay is getting rid of PayPal...

I hope one day they will add it up as payment, I did lose a bit on high fees by buying on skrill from a local vendor.

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

The reason so many small online shops accept paypal as their primary payment method is because they process their credit card transactions not because buyers primarily use their payment platform.

they have since updated with another tweet, lets get a few more comments and re-tweets, they could be a big plus if they incorporate a BTC wallet.

It seems to be the in thing at the moment to mention bitcoin on twitter etc to instantly get thousands of views and hundreds of retweets.  I wouldn't be 100% convinced but yeah it looks positive, they are a top notch service i have experience with them for years.

I wouldn't say they are planning to add but for sure they are evaluating to implement bitcoin as a means of payment. It would be a great achievment imho.

Anyway I left my positive feedback and suggest everyone to do the same. Also going to retweet.
