Corsair SP120 to push air in and SF120 to exhaust Antminer S5?

I'm considering a silencing mod to Antminer S5. Would it be a good idea to use Corsair SP120 Performance Edition to push air in and SF120 Performance Edition to exhaust? I have seen recommendations to use two SP 120s, but wouldn't it be better to use SF120 as exhaust fan, because it is pushing air to free space?

Or is  clearance behind the exhaust fan too small to use SF?

The problem is mostly the cooling performance. I received a S5 with two of them on and it was rather subpar, since i like to run them at 1.3TH/s. I'd recommend you just use the fan speed control on the stock fan. I run 2x S1/S3 fan on a couple of the S5 and it work well too.

You can set fan speed to minimum ~20% on the stock fan and i suspect depending on your ambiant that your temps will be too high. However thats still better cooling performance than the SP120.

I understand that people may want to use a SP fan to pull and a CFM fan to push, but personally i have not found much of a point.

By principle the CFM fan would be able to push a nice amount of air because the SP fan remove the pressure, but the thing is you need both CFM and SP, otherwise one of the fan kind of make nearly no difference (though it does, just to a very small amount.

I had two sp120. So not a lot of CFM. The SP is required, but you need CFM too. And CFM with no SP is bad too.

Get;
SD-S5-20150715-fan_ctrl.tar.gz

Go to the miner webui and go to upgrade, target the tar.gz, dont extract it.

Then where the beep at 80c check box was you'll have set fan speed %. Minimum RPM is 2400-2600 however, on the stock S5 fan, which is still loud but still a few times quieter.
Worth the upgrade even if you plan on changing the fans.
