As a regular member, we cannot change our username. Unless you're a VIP member, you can get a custom title for your account. If you donate 50 BTC, you get VIP status and the ability to create a custom title for yourself. Both Donators and VIPs also get access to an exclusive forum section https://bitcointalk.org/donate.html |

At first, the price for VIP / Donator account isn't up-to-date. In 2011 the 50BTC were rougly 50-70$ and a fair offer. If the price would be the same today, everybody would have this special rank. I mean it is something special and unique, but if the price is too low, everybody would have it and it wouldn't be unique anymore.

Theymos rarely changes it on request but you can try to message him. He has been known to do it for people who ask nicely. However this isn't a guarantee he'll do it.

The BTC50 rate was set when Bitcoin was a lot cheaper, and it would be unfair to change it now. Theymos sometimes can change it, you can PM him asking nicely.

No you can't change this unless you pay a donation of 50BTC
and i think no one will pay that much just to change their username
another option is create a new account with your desired username

I think they should make new rank with lower cost. 50btc is like donate car to forum. They should update old rank to new name like Super VIP+ 2.0 since 50 btc is lot of money to donate.
