got to say: currently it looks like btc has bottomed out. I'd hold right now for sure. (actually i am buying LTC right now Smiley )

but what kind of pessimistic are you Huh
also the world may end tomorrow if the earth will be hit by an asteroid with a diameter of 50miles!!!

not pessimist, realist. Yes, earth could be hit by a meteor tomorrow. But i think it's not likely, but possible. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened  Cheesy

Hold them but be aware that Litecoin USD value will only go up together with Bitcoin. Rise on it's own is not possible because Litecoin is one uninnovative coin with devs don't caring about the improvements at all.

Yes Btc rise will definitely help Litecoin. I think LTC will continue to improve from here. I have a buddy that is into Ltc and he was just telling me that Ltc hashrate has been rising and something in the charts is telling him that a bull run is coming. Hang on to them for a bit. Feb is a good time for the economy which should bring more money into play. You have held this long, might as well wait a little longer and see what happens. buy low sell high.

Litecoin is a popular coin for trading on pumps and dumps. You will probably be able to get a better price than today if you wait. However Litecoin's development is.. non existent?  It doesn't seem like are doing anything. It's only a matter of time before they are replaced by better tech, of which they are several.

this is fud because a store of value/payment system does not need a lot of work being done on it but it needs a good network and liquid markets. Litecoin has that so it's a more safe investement than these experimental pumped coins the auther of the comment above advertises.

Yea...safe investment when Litecoin dropped 4000%(40 times) from it's All Time High price....Makes sense.

Litecoin has dropped 92.6% from it's all time high(as of today), which is not unheard of in the cryptoncurrency world. Bitcoin did similar things in 2011 and Dogecoin dropped from 296 to 22 satoshi (before rising to 117) which is exactly the same: 92.6%. So this price level could be the bottom, the question is rather which currencies will rise the most when cryptocoins have their next bull run (if there is a next bull).
Litecoin surely is a good candidate since it belongs to the few coins that have proven their high liquidity, distribution and matureness relative to other Altcoins.

Agree with ^^^, many people want to hate on litecoin, but I think most of those people are not disinterested---they're devs or supporters of competing cryptos.  Litecoin has the market and liquidity to make it one of the few solid cryptos besides btc.  As far as I can tell, DOGE was a fly-by-night joke.

it's fine, you will only make a 'loss' if you sell them for less then you purchased them for, hold them and never invest more than you can afford to loose Smiley

When BTC (eventually) goes up substantially LTC will follow - your only dilemma then is when (at what price) to sell them at Wink
