Is it just me? Tonight I'm not able to place orders - when I enter amounts to buy or sell, the total to spend/receive is not automatically calculated like it usually is, and clicking the "buy" or "sell" button doesn't do anything. Scripts are enabled, again as usual. Works fine through android app.

Chrome and IE are not allowing me to see my open orders, cannot cancel or place a new one because of this.  Very frustrated.  Installing goxsh to try and manipulate things using the API.  This is not acceptable though.

I agree it is unacceptable. I can't cancel one of my sell orders, this has been going on for hours! Where is mt gox?  Huh

They only work during Japan daylight hours (they say so themselves, not me just speculating).  This is not really acceptable for a forex trading website.  They need a staff large enough to handle voice/e-mail support 24 hours a day.  People can lose thousands in minutes due to issues when they are all sleeping.

Edit: Well it's 4PM Japan time, but it's Saturday, so I doubt they are even "working".

I wonder what effect on price this will have if it lasts the whole weekend...

They need someone at customer support who can call them and bring them in to fix problems 24/7. Like it was said above I was able to manage my orders through their android app.

Man, how much would it suck to lose a bunch of BTC at the start of a run-up?

I guess when this hicup (or is it?) get cleared up there will be some abrupt shifts in the depths.  More on which side, I don't know.  My guess: drop on the sell side.

Yeah my Android app worked to delete my order and create a new one.  What a joke.

I'm working on Ubuntu Linux with Opera or Firefox, both do not work, so the problem seems to be more general.

My symptoms are: I do not see any order list, and so cannot cancel them. I can give a new order, but it takes a long time to show up in the header line "Open Orders: 5". The new order also cannot be cancelled.

Mt.Gox, it's your turn.

Maybe it should rather be called the "Bitcoin Prison" with them being the wardens.

Oh, and for this year: VISITING HOURS ARE OVER!

classic.mtgox.com is working.

I just made a test sell (0.01230000 BTC) and it works!

The new mtgox.com seems back up as well.

I actually expected the release of all held back orders at once nut it comes more trickling right now. Maybe they process them manually, bitcoinica style?
