Yes, I heard about 999 and scam several times. But I also heard it about almost every site where people can loose their money.
I read the tread about their bankroll, but it was long before I come to bitcointalk. It's not my war, I would say.
What can I say... It works for me. It pays to me. I had no problems with 999.
That doesn't mean it cannot be scam. But let me check it by myself.
If some problems will appear with account access, or withdraw of money, I'll stop using this site.
