Hi, i am Chris. I am a software developer with 15 years experience and am currently in need of work.
My programming skills:
I have a 1:1 Degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Cryptography
I am highly skilled in C/C++/C# Programming
I have previously done a lot of programming for web apps and sites: PHP, Java, xhtml, etc
I can database proficiently too, mainly familiar with Oracle
I can also program in VB and Python if anyone still uses either of these still
There isn't much i cannot do, and if it is not on the list, just message me with your question.
Depending on what the project size is i usually request 25% of the total fee upfront covering my time spent in case the client changes their mind on the project. Then the final 75% is payable upon receiving, and checking you are happy with, the final piece.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.
