I had a chance to use bitfloor the last couple of days and I wanted to write up a little review about it.

I walked into a Chase bank and deposited some USD to the account bitfloor specifies on its website. The teller asked me for a name on the account, I was a little unsure, but said "bitfloor", she just said "yup" and took my cash. I got the receipt, snapped a picture of it and sent it in. I was expecting to wait a while for a response, but to my surprise, I got one is about 5 minutes. I checked my bitfloor account, and the funds were there ready to trade.

The interface took a few minutes to get used to, but after a trade or two, everything makes perfect sense.

Fees are very reasonable.

I didn't have a chance to test cash withdrawals yet. API looks cool, but haven't messed with it either.

One thing I really like is how responsive the site is compared to other exchanges I've used.

Overall a very nice experience. Recommended.

+1. Great exchange. Well-designed. Run by a code-guru who knows what he's doing, and is very responsive.

I don't have a Chase branch near me... I'm working on getting the P2P stuff working. Frustrating to incur ACH transfer times at so many steps of the way. <my bank> -ach-> ING -ach/p2p-> bitfloor. At least I think this will be low fees.

I'm selling great Minion Games like The Manhattan Project, Kingdom of Solomon and Venture Forth at 4% off retail starting June 2012. PM me or go to my thread in the Marketplace if you're interested.

For Settlers/Dominion/Carcassone etc., I do email gift cards on Amazon for a 5% fee. PM if you're interested.

I love ING Direct's P2P payment service. It's free and the electric orange checking account is actually pretty good too, no minimum balance.

You can't win if you don't play. But you can't play if you lose all your chips.
