No joke - this is a rant, and a request! (I will give you 100,000 doge if you help me!!!)

when you go to look at how to begin mining dogecoin

the "geniuses" who know all this and that about mining dogecoin / altcoins...
they put up WAY TOO MUCH IRRELEVANT INFORMATION for people.

Like, why in the hell do I need to see every single past version of a cg miner before I read step 2?
Come on guys!

Put this stuff into layman terms please!!!

A guide to mining should look like this:

WINDOWS USERS CLICK HERE

LINUX USERS CLICK HERE

MAC USERS CLICK HERE

(I use a mac, so I will click the 3rd link, which opens to a new page)

STEP 1 - download this miner (only 1 option, please put something that works now and you tested!)

STEP 2 - here is a mining pool. Regiseter and then come back to this guide

Step 3 - copy and paste this info into terminal app on your mac

(the guide proceeds in similar BABY step fashion!)

I have clicked 20 links on google in the past hour and they all look like crap and lead to broken miners or huge pages of jargon. Half of the "mining pools" dont even have an address / port / password for me to copy!

SO VERY BAD!

If you want to help me make a simple mining guide, do please and I will give you 100,000 of my first mined coins.

Thanks Smiley

how long does it takes to get 100K doge with a mac ?  Grin (just keep them)

actually if your mac has a nvidia gpu; click nvidia thread
if your mac has an amd card (lol... very expensive material with cheapo gpu card  Grin): ask in sgminer thread
if it is just a hub where you plug your asic... ask people developping asic software...

and if you just want to use your cpu... well you will never get 100k to pay for the advice, so why bother  Grin

basically I need these infos:
1- Your OS, and either it's x86 or x64
2- Your CPU Brand/Model
3- Your GPU Brand/Model

Then I can provide which miner you should use to mine with optimum settings.

Sorry, no one owes you anything. To be able to mine, you need to "learn how to learn." There is definitely a barrier of entry.

Edit: Man, I must have some sort of magic power when it comes to sniffing out retards/scam artists. Makes me glad I didn't waste any time helping you.
