Specification A Digital Currency Project Team is looking for Java Developers with experience developing back end state of the art functionality to support its ambitious goals. We also have a position for a dedicated UI individual.
We offer the opportunity to be a member of a small team of elite developers and QA Engineers working in an agile, collaborative environment, working on front-end software development as well as the full stack including the back-end and middle software tiers.
Primary Duties
• Reviews, analyzes designs, modifies, and develops, tests, documents and implements software functions.
• Analyzes and resolves problems associated with application systems; detects diagnoses and reports related problems.
Requirements• 1+ years of relevant real world experience
• Proficient knowledge of Java language and using it to build cross-platform, highly functional, well documented apps.
• Practical understanding and demonstrated practice of software construction, computer science, and software industry best practices in an agile environment.
• Experience developing applications that run on a variety of platforms, both standalone and on top of server software such as Apache Tomcat and Eclipse Jetty
• Excellent communication skills and desire and ability to work in a collaborative, cross functional team environment. Create feature and functional specifications.
• Experience with blockchain based technology and other crypto-currencies are a plus.
Compensation• A monthly salary / stake in Horizon which is paid on the 1’st of every month.
If you are only interested in bounty work, we are looking for someone to develop an Android and iOS mobile wallet for Horizon, and for a developer to keep Horizon's client on par with NXT's client version.
