I really hope someone can help me with this. I made a withdrawal from Vircurex about 8 months ago to my Coinbase account. The transaction was wonky from the beginning as when I tried to view it on blockchain.info it didn't exist. I tried contacting Vircurex and they did not respond so I thought all hope was lost. Now, over 8 months later, the transaction is BACK! On Coinbase I have the transaction but it has 0 confirmations. The inputs are all confirmed as of March 25, except for one of them that remains unconfirmed and that is the one, I assume, is holding the entire transaction up.

How can I do something about this! I was reading through the forum and found out about https://www.f2pool.com/pushtx but I am not sure where to get the Raw Transaction or what it looks like, or for that matter if that is the right approach!

Please help, I am willing to pay someone some bitcoin if the transaction goes through.

Thanks!

EDIT: The transaction has disappeared for the second time now, so I assume that it will be back in the next few days when the transaction is attempted again. That would make it the third time the transaction has come and gone. I have attached a screenshot of the relevant information including transaction number.

Transaction number: 6994f6c7bed8fcffb245e1ed094c4b9f6cdd119ba595065c8314cb95b49ed668

Does Coinbase show a transaction ID for the transaction? If it does and you post it here then I'm sure someone can help.

Sorry I forgot that! I just edited the post to include a screenshot of the transaction data on Coinbase. The transaction timed out but it should be back soon. As the image shows, there is one input that is unconfirmed and I expect that is the issue.

Not sure what you can do to make the transaction (and the unconfirmed input) confirmed, but if you see the transaction appears on blockchain.info again, you can add "?format=hex" at end of the transaction page to get its raw transaction.

For example, if you want to get the raw transaction of 29a3efd3ef04f9153d47a990bd7b048a4b2d213daaa5fb8ed670fb85f13bdbcf, you can check
https://blockchain.info/tx/29a3efd3ef04f9153d47a990bd7b048a4b2d213daaa5fb8ed670fb85f13bdbcf?format=hex

Thanks for the help on this so far. The address was not wrong because the transaction was received by Coinbase ... but 8 months late! And unfortunately it was never on blockchain.info somehow. The transaction didn't seem to exist except there is no way Coinbase would receive it (that is where the screenshot came from) unless it was *somewhere* in the blockchain. My fear is that one of the inputs somehow got corrupted. I do not know nearly enough about how bitcoin works on a technical level but why can the other inputs progress properly even if one fails? What are the possible reasons for the input not to confirm?

I was able to find my transaction on this random website that I guess is like blockchain.info. It says "unable to find all tx inputs"
does this provide you guys with more info that can help? Here is the link (I was only able to access a cached version of the site):
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:n7Ph0cuxAacJ:https://cryptomsgr.com/ja/rejected+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

I just did a CTRL+F to find my transaction: 6994f6c7bed8fcffb245e1ed094c4b9f6cdd119ba595065c8314cb95b49ed668

Here is the blockchain link, although I doubt it will be of much help because it doesn't seem to recognize the transaction, at least right now:

there is no way Coinbase would receive it (that is where the screenshot came from) unless it was *somewhere* in the blockchain.

That is not true.

Coinbase will show transactions that have been sent even if they are not yet "*somewhere* in the blockchain".  That's what "unconfirmed" means.  It means that it is not yet in the blockchain.

My fear is that one of the inputs somehow got corrupted. I do not know nearly enough about how bitcoin works on a technical level but why can the other inputs progress properly even if one fails?

Bitcoin requires that transactions be confirmed in order.  Therefore your transaction will not confirm unless/until that input confirms.  Vircurex is the only one that can do anything about that.  You'll need to get assistance from them.  Nobody else can help you.

What are the possible reasons for the input not to confirm?

The input might be from a transaction that can't confirm.

For example, perhaps that transaction is waiting on an input of its own.
