We are launching alpha version of https://www.blockonomics.co . This helps you to keep track of balance / transactions of bitcoin addresses. It doesn't require your private keys, you can add any public bitcoin addresses and enjoy ! - You can use this to help you in receiving payment/debit alerts. It sends out a nice notification email on credits/debits. A maximum of one email is sent per block per user.
- Transactions can be viewed in Activity logs
- If you have coins in cold storage or use desktop wallet, you can use this service to easily monitor the balance of your wallet from anywhere. No need to open your bitcoin wallet each time. Just add all your addresses and chill out with peace !
Server uses leveldb to store/index bitcoind data. In process of adding more features like visualization of transactions and API support. Please free feel to let me know suggestions |

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Well, this idea is good - people can receive on E mail info on transaction. I think it can work as addition to desktop wallet - Bitcoin, Multibit, and even in online wallets too, like Blockchain.

Tags have been implemented. Try at https://www.blockonomics.co . No need to remember those cryptic bitcoin addresses. You can label them and live peacefully, for example I tagged addresses as personal, work and cold storage- View Balance of addresses
 - Activity logs now uses tags
 - Email notifications for credits/debited are more meaningful
 - Maximum number of addresses allowed per user has increased from 10 to 20

I have been using only demo but this option already exists. I like to see my balance in EUR so I set it in settings to €. |
