Could you by any chance point me in the right direction for obtaining a "standard wallet"?  I'm a newbie to PoS and have only ever worked with a -qt wallet for each individual coin, along with trading on Cryptsy.  Since there is not yet a -qt wallet for Cryptcoin, I am confused on how to go about minting coins.  Thanks for the reply and any help!!
Download the wallet from the main page. Send some crypts from cryptsy to you wallet, wait for your coins to mature (more or less 8 hours, you can close your wallet). When you want to stake you just need to open and unlock the wallet and all your matured coins will stake over time (based on luck & network weight).

Here the wallet, i had an old copy :
http://www.mediafire.com/download/xkiuroqf14m8h82/cryptcoin-qt.exe

I can upload the blockchain if you need it because it may take some time to sync from a new wallet.

Thank you good sir!!  It's up and trying to find some nodes (I'll add some to the .conf file in a second).  Hopefully it will be able to get the blockchain figured out by tomorrow.  Many thanks for the help Cheesy

-Edit:  Cryptsy's cryptcoin wallet is still down and it appears I'll have to wait for them to fix it before minting.

Just wondering, its alright that I do all of my Crypt trading on Cryptsy right?  It doesn't hurt the Cryptcoin project in any way does it?

Better use Bittrex, more secure, and bittrex can delist a coin if the volume is too low so trade there to avoid it.  Wink

Big sell today! Low volume though, so the price and buy orders are basically back to where they were. I've been in contact with mr_projects about further updates on our projects. I'll let you know the update info as soon as I get it.  Smiley
