Funny to read this coming from a Liverpool's fanboy . Eventhough I am a Manchester United's fan , I couldnt agree more with your statement. Ever since Sir Alex left the team, Manchester United has become quite a joke and fang-less sometimes even under Van Gaal's coaching (not enough player to fill the position is one of the major reason though ). However things may be changing for the next season judging from how enthusiast they are in signing top player to fill out some gap in case of injury and such

I dont think that Man Utd is a horrible team, perhaps you said it because their inconsistent performances in the previous EPL season. But now they have some new great players. And sorry to say Barca is worst than MU especially when they play without Messi

You guys need to take into account that Mourinho is not the type to pursue a pre season win record. He is the type that will use this pre season match to get the best possible scenario for the new season later which means that he might experiment lof of strategies. Take alook at the previous Chelsea match and you will see how they play unlike their usual style.
The same thing with Van Gaal , he is the type that will experiment the best composition for next season which mean both Chelsea and Manchester United will probably not win the match. Joca's suggestion is much more likely to happen (references below)

On a side I called both team to score, was a close call because Rafinha scored at almost the last minutes. Thing is that in pre season matches, both team to score is the most likely thing that is going to happen, bet on that and it will pretty much an easy win though. i only watched part of barca v man u, but i know barca didnt play Neymar or Messi, all their attack was basically upto suarez who got unlucky twice hitting the woodwork and also a disallowed goal for offside
