Ruh Roh...

2014-12-05 04:51:30 CheckForkWarningConditions: Warning: Large valid fork found
forking the chain at height 5099 (00000008C3F274807D3C1244CF42D374FAA6852A492F7EFAC94FE99EF84C99893FF70E786798957 7)
  lasting to height 5100 (0000000014D6636F29989254CD67336C83546FBEA623482CA62E4184B164BABF9FE1787AE745C71 6).
Chain state database corruption likely.

There it is, wallet screamed fork!

Ok, I'm going to have to add a new checkpoint at block 5099

Take a look at my previous to screaming fork post, there are a number of wallets out there that weren't updated.  Need to reject connections from lesser version wallets.  This is probably what seeded the fork.  And a debugger's nightmare waiting to happen further down the road.

Thanks for the tip. I'll do that

Edit: The fork began at block 5000 when the diff algo changed.

Exactly my thoughts, end users solo mining that had two different version clients allowed to communicate with each other calculating different difficulties, accepting blocks across versions, and it became evident with a %400 diff calculated at 5100 and the client flagged it.

Just getting home. Read about the fork. My wallet shows stuck at block 5103.

So I take it the wallet is turned off. I am on version 0.3.3 and cgminer will not hash.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

No, the work que is not being fed.  Bitcoin itself went through these types of problems, just growing pains.  Unfortunately you'll have to just sit tight until the new wallet is released, a fork that isn't addressed just snowballs and trying to mine with this type of problem is fruitless.  Luckily it is just a fork in the difficulty over the last 100 blocks.  "Forkin Difficulty"...  Grin

Would not have happened if everyone updated their wallets, but I think Dev is learning about people just as much as launching a coin.

I added the checkpoint at block 5000 since that was the block where the fork began.

My concern right now is that I've been trying to mine block 95ed9842d for 50 mins already.

Wallet and miner up and running but version 0.3.4 is still stuck on 5103.

Will see how it is in the morning.

Difficulty is 1.86K in miner, same as 5100 for me, and 902.18130373 in console.  Running a 280x it took a while to get through 5100 for me, is it going to wait until 5199 to retarget diff?

Oh boy, might want to release a manual retarget wallet, or maybe get that pool up.

I think there is a problem with the cgminer-khc getting the wrong diff.   But, I need to sleep now.  I'm very tired.

I'm running
cgminer.exe --debug --kryptohash -o 127.0.0.1:38912 -u user -p pass --shaders 2816 --shaders-mul 8 2>log.txt

Can anyone verify the correct block number we are on? I am showing 5104 and that I found 5103.

Something is definitely wrong with the cgminer. When it showed me finding block 5103 my accepted shares was 902 and rejected was 0.

Guys, at the current Diff, it is going to take days to reach Block 5200 where it is expected to retarget to a lower value.

I'm going to have to create a new wallet version with a hard fork at block 5098 and get a lower retarget value for a brand new block 5100.
