The term on the loan was extended one week, I should have posted here sooner. Jake has been communicating well and right now we are on track for a pay off date of July 27th. Will post an update next Friday.

Loan update: Jake is not able to repay the loan in full at this time, however, we have setup a payment plan and he is working to pay it off over time. I will update the thread as payments come in to reduce the principal on the loan.

not sure why you decided to go for a lump sum return on this one, I'd have gone for weekly paybacks, but I guess hindsight is 20/20. |

I predicted this one! He probably isn't a scammer, think about it, unless he is doing any other kind of transaction with that user in this forum, he would just stop replying to PMs. Unless he hasn't done any payments, in that case he's probably a scammer. |

Loan is now frozen at 326.4. I will not charge any further interest.
First repayment of 14.35 has come in. Remaining debt is now 326.4 - 14.35 = 312.05 BTC
Jake is communicating well and is determined to pay off his debt. I will continue to update as the debt is paid off.

Well that is unfortunate and unpredictable. Borrowing bitcoins for fiat projects has this risk, and it is large while bitcoin is undervalued, which I believe it is. I think both borrowers and lenders are vastly underestimating it; recalibration seems to be taking a while. |
