Up for auction is http://freebitcoinz.comThe faucet was largely successful however a number of visitors were exploiting the referral program and inflated their balances with false earnings, as such payouts were simply neglected due to other commitments offline and now all users that request payout are being individually checked for referral cheating and paid out. To resume operation anti-bot measures must be implemented and the referral program needs some reevaluation, otherwise the faucet functioned well. November 25th the homepage was changed to inform the users how they can withdraw their funds and informing of the pending sale the analytics take a dive after that due to people submitting their requests and not checking back. A number of users in their requests have asked that we inform them when the site is operational again as they would like to return. http://freebitcoinz.com Min Bid: 1.0 btc Min Inc: 0.5 btc Auction End: January 31st 2015 (Bids are accepted as posts, emails, or PMs)Nov 2nd -> Dec 2nd Oct 1st -> Oct 31st

Auction would include the domain and faucet script, but not hosting. Simple php and mysql however should work on most any host.

Uhm, can you read? It says 1.0BTC min bid... 1 BTC is absurd for a faucet. Any faucet can get five figure views by listing it with landofbitcoin, advertisers pay next to nothing for spots on faucets. They aren't the cash cows people seem to think they are

I was reading that you just stop paying out when your adsense account get banned. No other problems with false referrals earnings.

That is somewhat correct. The adsense account accumulated $1200 in a single month then the account was suspended due to suspicious click activity, we suspect from the bots and a lot of paid to click traffic Here was one of the bots that exploited the site https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=424693.0(ironically the bot author later went rogue and distributed malware) The bot worked by creating an account and using proxies to register 50 more accounts all as referees and visiting the site for each account racking up large earnings rapidly. Attempting to filter out the bogus accounts got to be too time consuming and being busy with class and life bitcoin got pushed to the side and now we are selling the site and paying the legitimate users who request it as detailed on the site.

They aren't the cash cows people seem to think they are As can be seen ~100k sessions were Direct traffic, as in typing the url manually, whereas ~80k were Refered Traffic, as in landofbitcoin. There is also a large amount of traffic coming from search engines. Advertisements around the faucet were not the only source of income, there were "survey" and "free trials" that could be completed for bitcoin rewards which pay out nicely for both the visitors and site owner. It was configured for every $1 we earn 1000 satoshi were paid to the visitor.

Also, there are services selling new faucet creation for 0.5btc whereas we are selling an existing faucet with traffic and search rankings, etc. I think I also saw a guy selling it for 1btc somewhere, the creation of a new faucet only... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=885913.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=885178.0

Bump.
When starting a new faucet you would have to work to gain traffic flow, we already have it.
Over the life of the faucet it was never advertised and it managed to acquire 100k sessions per month

But 1 BTC is seriously lame mate. It's really difficult to earn from faucets, the more traffic, the more outflow. Advertisers won't pay more than $30 for a month

Nobody abused it but you stopped paying.I also had a decent balance. You owe your members 3 BTC +.First you should pay it then continue else close it.
Nobody should buy this faucet with history of scam and almost dead now.
