I have about 100$ BTC . and I want to invest it to get more money Grin someone told me to try this website https://hashie.co/ that I will double my money within a week and the problem is I have no experience on this mining world etc...

If anyone can share his experience , advices & suggestions . That would be nice (Opinions about that given website too)

I really doubt you can double your money within a week with it but sure you check out people reviews and payments in their
official thread and here. Only invest after you done doing the proper maths imo it won't pay that much.

$100 can buy around 224 G Hashpower from https://hashie.co/, which will mine 0.0027 per day($1). It will need at least 100 days to recover your invested capital without consideration of the increase of the difficulty. So it is impossible for you to double your money within one week.

If anyone tells you, you can  double your money in a week without a risk, he is a scammer. I don't even need to look at the website to say that for sure.
Think about it, if anybody would have found a way to double his money in a week. Do you really think, he would tell anybody?
That would be getting 4503599627370496(2^52) times of your investment in a year.
Just stay out of it.

If I wanted to gamble, gamble being the operative word here, I would put it into Namecoin "NMC", as that is due to have a block reward halving around 16th of December and thus mayyy see a rise in value.

However, a bullish market in BTC is imminently predicted, meaning that by 16th December the price of BTC could well have doubled, in which case you may not see a net BTC gain.

If you have a $100 credit in one of those new sites that says you have "$100 in BTC" rather than actually having BTC worth $100 at current price (about 0.3 or so) then get actual BTC to hold for the next month or so.

Oh I see now  Shocked Thanks for the explanation guys , I didn't knew that. so basically I should stay away from it :p
I may just hold them and wait till the price rise (if It rise one day) since I do not gamble

and so We don't accuse people , the guy who told me is from another forum and have a lot of reputation , so he probably not a scammer but just don't have enough knowledge

Be aware that "holding them" should mean, having them in a real wallet, where you have access to the private key.

The most realistic and convincing is that if you learn trading, become a PRO BITCOIN TRADER and start trading bitcoin. You will double your money less than 1 week Grin

As far as mining, roi in less than six months won't even happen, let alone a week.

Find better ways to invest, or just keep the coins in your wallet.

I haven't used Multibit, but making a backup once should be enough, since I guess you don't backup just your private key, but all you private keys.
Mabye someone who uses Multibit can confirm.
