"Gusti" has barely been active in the past year(s). There is a very good chance this is a purchased account. Beware.

Well, I posted it not to prove something to somebody. It is just a report about trip and my own opinion. I do not pretend to be a guarantor. You always have to decide yourself.

I understand but you can see how suspicious you look. All these guys need to do is send a sample device to a known high profile reliable forum member who can do an independent review. What is so hard about that?

Matches perfectly: Posts: 1097 Activity: 1096 Position: Legendary Date Registered: January 25, 2011, 02:04:46 PM Except for the avatar, but I guess the buyer accidentally deleted that by trying to change it. What I can say.. I agree with you, it is not hard. But it is not my company, and I can't answer "why". By the way, I have asked why they don't even published any video. He said that the person responsible for that is absent, but they will present the video soon.

Back in 2012, Gusti (the real one) spearheaded a project called openbitasic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=76351.0The project went nowhere, but he registered the domain, using an email I will not post here, but is easy to find. I emailed that address asking to post some code here to verify the Gusti account was still controlled by him. Instead, I got a reply from that address and from a name that began with Gustavo (same name Gusti used to sign his posts with, same name that registered said domain) : "Hi :
I have nothing related to gusti in bitcointalk." So yeah, the account was sold and you can be sure this whole thing is a plain scam.

Latest email from "you": Yes, the account was sold as I was not using it anymore, and the monetary offer was good.
Anyway, I sold it to a broker for advertizing purposes, I do not condone any scam or impersonating.
Buyer has not leverage over me, but I do not want my name or email address appear in the forum anymore. I have little to no sympathy for the real Gusti who sold his account and must have realized what it would be used for, but Il stil honor his request to not use his name or email to some degree. Anyone who doubts me, go here: https://whoisology.com/Using the domain information I posted above, go through the archive and you'll be able to piece together what I did, and confirm what I found. Confirmed SCAM.

What is wrong with you? I told before that I'm not trying to be a guarantor or something like that. But your attack looks really strange and I can't understand reason of that. I do not propose you anything (and to nobody at all). And at least for that reason I will not argue.
Anyway, I think if they will present some video, everything will fall into place.

As planned, together with oureptsC we had a meeting with the Minerslab representative. First of all, many thanks to oureptsC and his sister for the welcome. It was really nice to meet you and I hope to see you again.
I was skeptical about this company, but it looks, this trip left a good impression. It was really difficult to arrange it, but we finally found a common ground. After many calls and conversations, I was able to convince that their will not loose anything after meeting with representative of Bitcointalk community. Well, after we met up with oureptsC I made a call to confirm our appointment. We agreed that their representative will meet us in a concerted place and we will go to test at least one of their miners. After meeting with Walter (ML's representative) we drove to another side of city. In the warehouse, we had ability to see the 10Th/s bitcoin miner in work. Unfortunately we had no ability for longer presentation, but it was enough for understanding that they have at least one miner, that works with its stated parameters.
I planned to buy at least one device but as Walter said, orders were closed one day before because one of their customers made a wholesale order and bought out all available miners, but the next batch is scheduled for January.
Nice try, gusti, but your account above is... well, how to put this delicately... CONTRIVED

Funny how a company who has an About Us page that says: It’s been two years since MinersLab founders decided to create their own cryptocurrency miners. During this time our group of young and ambitious enthusiasts has evolved into a company of like-minded persons, which has attracted experienced top-notch specialists in development of equipment, engineering and management. At the beginning of 2014 we started a project of developing equipment for mining scrypt cryptocurrencies, which we plan to finish at the second half of 2014. Besides that we are simultaneously developing the second generation of Bitcoin miners. As compared to the first generation, which had a limited run, these miners will be available to a wide range of customers.
And yet the company has only been in existence for 6 months.. The domain is only exactly 4 months old. Domain Name: MINERSLAB.COM Registry Domain ID: 1870322042_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.internet.bs Registrar URL: http://www.internetbs.net Updated Date: 2014-08-09T09:04:03Z Creation Date: 2014-08-09T08:30:47Z

To help with that decision making process, are you the original owner of the gusti user account or did you purchase it?

Not that I'm defending anyone, but it's possible for a lot of work to be accomplished before official paperwork gets turned in for registrations and stuff. Some people just really hate paperwork.

Interesting timeline: - Form idea for company two years ago. - Register great company name for tax reasons in July, 2014. - Purchase great domain name before somebody else does in August, 2014. - Built website, put in place social media sources, don't create BCT account. - Welcome two bozos and a sister from the BCT community to show how viable we are. - Bozos go back to BCT community and report all is well. - Profit! (unless that psycho Gleb and his minions fuck everything up) <BTW, I haven't started with that imagination part yet>

According to the timestamp of your post, looks like you all had a busy morning today. Don't know what you had to tell Walter to convince him that Minerslab wouldn't loose anything due to the informative meetup, but to date that's not working out so hot, is it? Apologies for my imagination not yet kickin' in, but when it does...
