https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

Bitcoin Difficulty:   40,007,470,271
Estimated Next Difficulty:   40,007,544,696 (+0.00%)
Adjust time:   After 1657 Blocks, About 11.5 days

A new era of stability? Or the start of something new?

Also bitcoin-qt 0.10 might go see its first RC next week.

The network is maturing.

Someone has already noted this chance and soon starts an another mining farm. Home miners are ordering more. I am quite sure we soon see a spike at the hashrate and then a difficulty adjustment will be like 10 %.

Probably due to the weather. Many using rigs to heat their homes, and now that winter is half way there, its dampened the difficulty.

Wouldn't that pump UP the difficulty as more miners are being used?

Of course it would.

ONe thing that is having an effect IMO, its all these non-mining mining ponzi's. If only a small fraction of the coins thrown to them went to actual mining hardware or legit cloudmining, we wouldnt be seeing quite this stagnation. And of course, it wont last either way, at the latest its a matter of when the next gen bitfury, KnC, AM, CT, bitmain and spondoolies rigs hit with a power efficiency thats several times better than current hardware. Bitfury 0.2J/GH was supposed to happen this year.
