Yeah exactly.  I thought along the same lines.  Also, it makes MasterCard look pretty desperate and shows that they actually see Bitcoin as competition.  Despite MC doing many times the transactions that Bitcoin is doing.

^ Yup. That was my dad's reaction. Draws attention to the fact that there's real, globally meaningful potential with Bitcoin. Unclear exactly who Mastercard is expecting to fool. Anyone bothering to pay attention to a financial-services attack ad is going to read between the lines at least a little...
