Hi, this week I've  been a little bored at home and try to do something with the 20th i have in home (all antminers S3).

for this I download the wallet and leave sync for two days. yesterday I went to asda last friday to buy a bottle of spanish wine and start to configurate the daemon for SOLO MINING.

(I Know im crazy but its only for test last week in ghash was really bad and i have some time free)

Anyway I run the daemon with flag -s and change the conf file in %appdata/roaming/myuser/bitcoin% the antminer in 127.0.0.1:8332

and dont get the work, i mind dont contact with the pool

can be a problem with the firewall? can i open the port for rcp?

im try to open the port but i only can open in tcp/upd mode

maybe i need turn off the firewall for do some test but i prefer ask first.

sure here have someone who do this before    Grin Grin Grin

here its a copy of my conf file.

Code:
addnode=69.164.218.197
addnode=10.0.0.2:8333
rpcallowip=10.1.1.34
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
rpcport=8332
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpctimeout=30
rpcuser=n3rvi0zz0uklondontest
rpcpassword=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
gen=1
server=1

I ran into this "pool" once when I tried to find some info how to mine solo
http://bitsolo.net/

In this "pool" you mine solo and it is easier to get working than trying to get your own computer to be the server
Only downside with this is that if you find a block you'll get paid 25BTC but the transaction fees are taken as pool fee.

EDIT:
Also found these two but have not tested them
