Absolutely, and while I am not a big consumer of cosmetics, every new business which adopts bitcoin makes the concept stronger.

Matthew W Wright, who is very active here, would be a great resource for you- he lives in Korea, and has a strong entrepreneurial spirit about bitcoin.

Yes, why not. Study over it, ask around if you have any issues and the day you start accepting it don't step back, no matter what.

Bitcoin is for the long run, so you will not see your revenue increasing dramatically by night, but a steady low increase while people gain confidence with your business, and give you free publicity by word of mouth too.

You can save a lot in transaction costs if you use bitcoins during the transactions. If you're running a cosmetics site, you can offer bitcoins as one of the payment processors along with Paypal/credit cards too. Afraid of the bitcoin value fluctuations? Use https://bit-pay.com/ - they'll handle the fluctuations and everything else. Get in touch of this guy:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=24749 , he's living at Korea now, and he's really active with Bitcoin businesses (He runs the bitcoin magazine too).
There's a thread for Koreans over here:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25585.0

I'd suggest to go all the way with it. Bitcoin liberates us from the big corps and governments oppression.

Good news: there is almost NO effort involved whatsoever Smiley Bitcoin is very simple to work with. And although I don't expect you will get much bitcoin spending customers right away, this stuff is potentially HUGE.

Seriously, I think Bitcoin has the potential to become THE (or at least one of the) major currency worldwide.

Just take some time to start understanding the basics behind the Bitcoin concept. It's very ingenious and might seem kinda complicated at first, but it's really brilliant. You can have a simple bitcoin address on your website to receive payments, or use a bitcoin payment processor like bit-pay.com

Good luck with your Bitcoin business sir, and feel free to ask around if you have more questions. The Bitcoin community are very nice people Smiley

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

I am thinking of selling korean ginseng and cosmetics.  I am a supplier so I have very low prices.
I tried to search for bitcoin shopping websites but I couldnt find many. 1 sale a day is too little.
Are there people here that sell anything for bitcoins and have their shop?
I didnt find any website with bitcoin selling statistics

I've never ordered cosmetics online, but if you offered Bitcoin payment, I would seriously consider it.

1 sale a day is a generous estimate. More like 1 a month? But really, you should accept as many payment methods as conveniently possible. Fortunately, bitcoin can more convenient than any of them. You can set it up to be zero maintenance.

It's worth it because the currency is beneficial to you. Bitcoins are mostly exchanged/valued at US dollar and they do go up in value so you'll make more money at the end.

this thread reminds me of one of bitcoins main problems as i see it - the predominantly male user base. Just like in gaming, and most other things IT related, women are seriously under-represented. Thus while I do think the OP should sell cosmetics online using bitcoins, I think sales will not be quite as high as they could be, if the bitcoin user base was more equal
