On certain clients, you decide how much you want to pay for a fee.
You can even pay no fee at all, but this would result in a transaction that would be accepted on a block only weeks later.

This must have been a mistake, just today I was trying to send some btc and electrum kept showing some error(don't remember what exactly) and I checked to see what was wrong and I was trying to enter the amount in comment field. So, it happens, but wallets should have a warning for high fees too, same as they have for low fees.

Well first off this isn't 'for laugh'. There are 2 possible scenarios:
1) He made a mistake; He needs help getting his money back.
2) He did it on purpose thus he is a 'Good Guy'.

I remember some time back a guy here made a similar transaction. He was told to contact the pool than included the transaction in their mined block. Don't remember how this ended though, maybe someone that does could link the topic.
Here is the topic:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=602152.0

He got refund.

And today somehow I managed to send a no fee transaction by mistake, and it already got 4 confirmations.

Hope I get the other 2 in less than a month

Donating to for-profit miners? Ok.

This isn't funny at all imo, most likely he/she sent the amount as 2 BTC and 0.0001 and made a mistake...  Undecided

Yeah I remember that post, though I can't find it. The guy did manage to get his coins back after contacting the pool, IIRC.
