Hello,

I am new to the scene but thought i read enough about the process to get started however it seems i missed something somewhere.

I have a Raspberry Pi runing minepeon 0.2.4.6 with a ASICminer Blade rev2 using bfgminer3.99.0. It is all connected and i am processing 10.72 GH/s according to minepeon

i am using mint.bitminter.com
status is alive

So it looks like its working and has been running for 14 hrs. however when i log into bitminter it shows that i am only doing 8 GH/s,    119,856 accepted and, 872 rejected

Why would the numbers line up and why after 14 hours i haven't even made a fraction of a bitcoin? I understand with a month of processing at this level i will be lucky to make 10 us dollars worth of bitcoin but i want to up my processing power. I just want to make sure everything is working first.

Any thoughts on what is going on?

At 10GH/s, a quick calculations says you will earn 0.00382609 BTC per month, or about $1.30usd at current prices. It may very well take you a few days to get your account credited.

Also the pool needs to find blocks before anyone gets paid. Sometimes there can be a good portion of time where no blocks are found (bad luck)

Bitminter pays with PPLNS, so your shares will earn you some satoshi only if they are in the last 10 shifts when a block is found.

If you check https://bitminter.com/shifts, you will notice sometimes 1TH/s will generate you more bitcoin, sometimes it will give you less, and sometimes it will give you nothing.
