I'll be overclocking it with two CX750's as long as it's not too noisy. Judging from the snowfall out there, the holiday season should be perfect for some mining to heat up everything.

My old friend, I am sorry in advance A minor underclock and you should be okay to lower the 80% fan down.

  Not even if I point it at the frigid air outside? It's been some time since I mined after the days of FPGA's and GPU's, so I'm not too sure what to expect here.

Its a 30W fan at 100%, compared to your usual fan of ~2W. This is big boy mining now

I am not an engineer, but I would venture to say that some of the noise would be shape and placement of the holes the air is moving thru.

Not any more they not, that graveyard hasn't been planted in since before WW1!
The old kirk building is the oldest surviving building in my town and my house was built not long after, in the 1860's.

That's a 20 years old fence, close to its end of life. Painting is unnecessary for this kind of wood More likely it will get a pressure wash in the spring ...
