I dont know I agree on the exact numbers but this seems reasonable. Long term trend is down, but short-mid, not really sure. Lots of up and down along the way to $50.

You probably should at least start shorting a little... <300 is going to be hard... but the 4K+ coins that were removed from the orderbooks on the buy side around that area could have me very very wrong. There used to be huge walls from 330 down but all those people and more bought today.

I'm not so sure: miners only have that much money to play around with. If a few whales panic the entire situation might turn real nasty real quick. If even one big whale decides to cash out, it will have a strong effect on the market. Let's see what the big players will do.

Well it hit 326 on bitstamp and dead cat bounced back up to 332, but there's not much support to keep it there.

If things turn really nasty and we go to $120 the news will be full of bitcoin drops to a tenth of it's ATH stories. If it starts to rise after that I expect quite a few speculators might jump on board after hearing the news.

Remember every short is actually a contract to rebuy bitcoin at some point in time... so if the bulls squeeze the shorters out with huge market buys they would be forced to cover right away or they might even lose allt heir bitcoins to the exchange, who would probably buy more btc with it, instead of shorting it
