Remember every short is actually a contract to rebuy bitcoin at some point in time... so if the bulls squeeze the shorters out with huge market buys they would be forced to cover right away or they might even lose allt heir bitcoins to the exchange, who would probably buy more btc with it, instead of shorting it

I think he means that about a month or 2 back, it touched 275 for some time, and then bounced back. Probably refering to that
