What is the best way you have found APART from mining. Is it having a list of faucets? maybe a site like BTC clicks where you can see ads? maybe shortening your links and passing them to other people? Tell me your ideas as I'm quite new to bitcoin gaining. As of now I really like BTC clicks a lot, but I don't know if there are better methods. If there are, post them here please Smiley

Thanks!

Bitcoin is money.  The best way to earn it is exactly the same as the best way to earn U.S. dollars, or Japanese Yen, or Euros.  There is nothing magical about this.

  • Provide a product or service that others desire and accept bitcoins in exchange for it.

This can mean starting a company that provides something that others want, or it can mean getting a job and accepting bitcoin as wages.  If you can't find enough people to pay you with bitcoins, then have them pay you with whatever their prefered currency is, and then just exchange that currency for bitcoins.

I think most of the people do not understand that bitcoin is money, and you would do the same thing to earn it, like you would do for fiat.
However, a lot of people don't like going through exchanges, and the complicated things to buy bitcoin, so they think of alternate ways to get it.
And it is then when  things like signature campaigns get counted.

I would agree with your comment about signature campaigns. Although bitcoin is very much money, the value given to advertisers is real and advertisers on here tend to have income in terms of bitcoin.

Well I think the question would be better phrased if it were to include some kind of clause that asks how to get paid in terms of bitcoin. Microsoft and Apple for example both have costs in terms of fiat based dollars so working for either company would not be a good way to to earn bitcoin as the amount you would earn would vary based on the exchange rate. On the other hand a bitcoin dice site has the majority of their costs (and income) based in terms of bitcoin so working as a developer (or otherwise working) for a dice site would be a better way to earn bitcoin in terms of bitcoin, regardless of where the exchange rate goes.

Agreed, like fiat, the best way to get that dough is to shake what your momma gave you. Sell your bodies for bitcoin... Just kittehn, in all honesty, bitcoin is exactly like fiat. You just gotta find your niche, find a way to make money by exploiting said niche, and get yourself some bitcoin to feed back to the economy.

Use the Services section to provide any skills you have. I'm sure someone would be willing to pay you some coin for a job.

Or buy and sell Bitcoin daily/weekly and save the profits as Bitcoin.

I just buy them on dips from fiat salary/income. I find that works best rather than waste time finding schemes to earn in btc.

I think one of  the best way to earn bitcoin is buying cloud mining contracts (go to cex.io/), which is eliminating the hassle of operating and maintaining mining rigs by yourself.

To be fair there are very few ways to be paid in bitcoin directly by providing any kind of work/service. The vast majority of employers (the most traditional way to get paid money) is not going to pay you in bitcoin, but would instead pay in fiat and you would need to convert it into bitcoin.

Start an illegal IPO. Those seem to have been pretty profitable (not for the shareholders).

Possibly start an online wallet service and "accidentally" leave all company funds in a hot wallet where "hackers" can get at it (this is the most profitable because it requires no startup capital, can operate in your moms basement and works over and over again).

Start an online gambling game where the odds are in your favor. It doesn't even need to be very sophisticated to clean up. Just make it a little less stupid than "rock-paper-scissors" or "guess what number I'm thinking about".

Build up a little rep on this forum and borrow money. Pay back small loans over time then take out one large loan and never pay it back.

Start an ASIC miner manufacturing company and take preorders for equipment with unreal specs. You don't even need to deliver good working equipment with all the parts that live up to your specifications lies. Just make everyone that ordered wait more than a year to get it and they'll be happy if you ship them shit in a box because at least they finally got something from you.

I don't think any of these suggestions would actually qualify as "earning" bitcoin, but rather stealing/scamming bitcoin from others. all of the above will only erode confidence in bitcoin in general and will damage the bitcoin economy

Tell that to the gambling sites and ASIC manufacturers. They think they're running businesses. I do agree with you. They have seriously eroded confidence in Bitcoin in general.

Any casino is going to have a house edge, and everyone gambling is going to lose money over the long run, a casino would not be in business if this was not the case (this does not only apply to bitcoin casinos). The problem with bitcoin casinos is that they are often not fair and often end up stealing from both their customers and investors.

I am honestly not sure how/why ASIC manufacturers are able to get so many people to "invest" in preorders, especially when they have not even proven they even sell real equipment, and have histories of delays
