I have a domain expiring soon at GoDaddy, and I'm trying to move it over to Namecheap before it expires in 9 days.

Do you guys think it's possible? Anybody have experience with this?

3 to 5 business days. Be aware: Godaddy has a rtep for being notoriously slow with domain transfers...

This should help you:
https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/3560/transferring-domain-names-to-another-registrar

Issues I have had in the past are updating the whois info recently, or trying to transfer a domain that is about to expire (as in your case),

Generally, goDaddy is fine for transferring domains to/from them - just be careful of the little things that can cause problems.

If I were you, I'd renew the domain at the current registrar for another year, then try and transfer it in two months.

Thanks, I've heard there can be delays.

I did just that. I didn't want to risk anything messing up during the process. Thanks!
