UPDATE: I will design a custom ticker for your website! It can be any size and include whatever information you would like. I'll even include your logo and design it however you'd like. You may pay me whatever you feel it is worth for you. Contact me if you're interested!

180x240

100x20
http://oneminuteslow.com/bitcoin/100-20.png

Just copy the image URL and embed wherever you want!

The images automatically update every 10 minutes. I wrote a simple program to output the latest ticker data to an image file, which I then upload to my server at 10-minute intervals. I'm still messing around with it, so I apologize if the updating breaks every now and then.

Another advantage is that I can add features to the ticker that get pushed right to you. So, if you have a feature request and I implement it, you won't have to patch or change anything; you'll immediately see the changes I make to your embedded ticker. Also, if you'd like me to create a ticker of a different size, I can do that as well. I recommend the small size for forum signatures and the large size for web pages.

Here are the URLs for each:

Enjoy! If this helps you, I would greatly appreciate your donation:

this is sweet I'm gonna post here to find it in the future. You might want to add simply "(USD)" under the numbers row.

Thank you, I was looking for something similar like http://www.kitconet.com/, and possibly of the same size: do you plan to work to charts too?
Also, it would be very, very nice to have a chart comparing BTCs to gold and silver.

As for those panels you created, I would recommend to add the unit ($, or USD) and to use antialiased fonts.

Also, I would be delighted to have a ticker using € (Euros) as a reference Smiley

I think the buy and sell words are back-to-front.. at present the buy is lower than the sell: shouldn't buy correspond to Ask and Sell, Bid.

Could just change it to ask, bid.

I've updated the tickers with some of the features you guys wanted to see. The fonts are anti-aliased for a nicer appearance, and I added USD to each one. I also added a timestamp to the bottom of the large ticker. This will likely not be your time zone (EST), but it is more of a reference to use in order to determine if there have been any recent update problems.

I will continue to make improvements as you provide more feedback.

Can you also add something like this?
http://oneminuteslow.com/bitcoin/130usd?.png

It will show a dynamic image with the actual value of 130 USD in Bitcoin

So it will be possible to do the same with these example:
http://oneminuteslow.com/bitcoin/130usd?.png
http://oneminuteslow.com/bitcoin/20usd?.png
http://oneminuteslow.com/bitcoin/45.4usd?.png
...
http://oneminuteslow.com/bitcoin/xx.xxxusd?.png

Pretty good idea, but for what it is, I don't think it would be worth the difficulty for me. I'm not experienced with server-side programming, and the current ticker I designed is simply a desktop application that uploads an image to the server every ten minutes. So, adding such a feature, which interacts with client requests and all, would be another big project rather than a small feature addition.

Great idea.

Feature request: Add support for other currencies as well.

I'd like to add other currencies, and I've actually begun coding it. The one hurdle is the fact that MtGox provides their ticker information in USD (https://mtgox.com/code/ticker.php) and, as far as I know, not in any other currency. So, I have to look up the current exchange rates as well. But, I'm about 70% done with it, so I suppose I might as well finish it. Would you like to see anything besides EUR?

I have something which is more a "proof of concept", but have look here: http://btcticker.appspot.com/

I'll have a look in the evening. Can you recommend a USD/EUR service?

Also the way I calculate the conversion rate using MtGox ticker is (buy + sell + 2*last) / 4. It looks about right to me, but I'm open to suggestions.

I think that the bests are here:
http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/

Anyway, I recommend this for euro: https://bitmarket.eu
and GPB: https://britcoin.co.uk

I think that you can also add an easy interface for dummies.
Users will select the service that they prefer, the in-currency,out-currency and the value.
It should show/make the final url.

You have just made a very useful service Cheesy

1 BTC:
$130 :

I know it's just new, but here's some interesting ones:

100,000.00 btc: Great!
1,000,000.00 btc: Not so great!
10,000,000.00 btc: Horrible!

Edit:
21,000,000 btc: Humorous!

Edit 2: I see you've now fixed things so my post doesn't make sense any more Smiley
