I started using them this week.

I like there USPS money order option. I also dont live very far from there HQ also. So far so good, And everything has been super smooth.

One question i have though:

There BTC prices are avg about .40 lower than the other exchange I wont name(and never use again after readin the horror stories around here)

I was wondering why the prices are so much lower?

Thank You!

I recently purchased about 8 BTC on CBX and it went very smoothly. I also give them a thumbs up. I can't comment on the withdraw side of things.

I'm selling great Minion Games like The Manhattan Project, Kingdom of Solomon and Venture Forth at 4% off retail starting June 2012. PM me or go to my thread in the Marketplace if you're interested.

For Settlers/Dominion/Carcassone etc., I do email gift cards on Amazon for a 5% fee. PM if you're interested.

+1. I have just started using CampBX and I expect they'll see a lot of my business. I have a couple minor nit picks I could bring up, but it's not really worth it.

Because it's easy and cheap to move money into and out of CampBX if you're based in the US, but harder/more expensive for everyone else, due to the particular options they have for moving money. This decreases demand.

Don't take that as authorative; there's probably more than that involved.

I agree with mollison.
After fees from getting money into MtGox (said fees are lower than BitInstant and AurumXchange), I end up paying about $.20 over market to buy bitcoins with USD (1000 USD order). With CampBX, getting USD in/out is completely free (well, I'm lazy so I pay $2 for ACH withdrawal).

Or maybe the sellers are genuinely nice people! Or are lazy and don't update the ask prices Tongue

As much beef as I have with Dwolla, it is very conveniently implemented with CampBX. So fast. That's why I started using CampBX. Oh, and if I knew a single thing about programming and APIs, I would be all over the arbitrage opportunities here.

Strictly speaking, there are no real "arbitrage opportunities" at the moment, because it currently takes 11+ days to get your Dwollas out of "that other exchange".  When Dwolla & MTG get their act together, we could potentially see this price differential narrow.

That is very true. I spoke too soon.

Nice to hear.  I think I'll make my next bitoin purchase through CampBX.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.
