I'm new to this.

So I'm shorting bitcoin and the price has moved down a lot after putting in my position. I have a decent profit right now and I'd like to pull out with my profits. Do I have to wait for the settlement period to begin or can I go ahead and take my profits now? How do I do this?

It says settlement doesn't happen for a day and 2 hours.

Thanks!

Yes, you can close your short positions by buying. They probably have a specific option for this.
