Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Nice detail Aaron. I can sympathize with you. I first started noticing things were wonky when the Reinvestment contract did not come in on Dec 1st.

I too am trying to get some kind of response from as to what's going on.  But no answers after two Support messages sent.
