...why I do what I do.

I just finished reading the linked article, and opt to quote one of the last paragraphs. It seems to sum up quite nicely of why I do what I sometimes do here on BitcoinTalk. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/so-long-suckers-im-leaving-wall-street-2012-06-19

Pay attention: Following the scandals, the controversies and the issues on Wall Street can be infuriating, boring and discouraging. Working to change the system may seem impossible. But if you’ve read this far, you obviously are at least curious. Or a glutton for punishment. You have what it takes.

I try not to harm anybody during my tough questionings, some of which may even be considered stupid once I don my 20-20 shades, but if and when I do (and have), I'm man enough to back-pedal my Flying Pigeon and apologize.

To quote Captain Stubby (or was it Charles Homer Bill?), "Thanks for listening".

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.
