Judge allows Butterfly Labs to reopen

A federal judge has denied a request by the Federal Trade Commission to keep Butterfly Labs closed, and instead will allow it to resume operations under the court's oversight.

Oh fuck you justice system! I don't normally do this but I seriously think somebody should DDOS their site out of existence so they can't scam more people and they will, just with the governments approval.

They are allowed to resume business? The judicial system is flawed. The good news is buyers could get their money back.

I do understand the mass's feeling about this company.I don't think Their resumption of operation is not bad for us. At least we can get our refund back. BFL can still focus designing the new model ASIC miners for us using their expertise on this area. Their operation is under court'r supervision that will make us a little comfort when we are dealing with BFL.

People should absolutely request their money back.  They can buy so many more Bitcoins directly.

butterfly scam is back  Wink

Ah facepalm, well I hope that when they define oversight
They don't mean one guy who drives by once a month walks into the door sees the Display case that makes it look like they are working or all the units mining and Josh saying were just testing them out before shipping them out to customers, then the court official saying it seems everything is in order and leaving for another month while BFL is doing nothing but mining.

__

Wimes decided instead to allow Butterfly Labs to submit a written report every month documenting:

Progress toward manufacturing and shipping its product to customers who have already ordered the status of refund requests
Progress on corporate governance reaffirming that the company has not returned to its pre-order model and is only selling items that are in-stock

Good thing I never bought from them scammers candled me pre orders and got refunded and never to use ever ever ever again. Feel sorry for the people who had orders with  them and still have orders with them that are never to get processed. Shocked to see they have been allowed to return to open business and I find that very interesting to see they have allowed them to conduct illegal business and wrong doings to customers.

I'm still awaiting a bankruptcy declaration
Then everyone raging at that and saying seriously where is the Bitcoins from 2012 onwards then we know you mined them lol.
