We are paying with free bets, but those bets are valued at 0.001 btc each so this can be, in a way, understood as paying with bitcoins.
Comparing with other signature campaigns of course, you are not receiving bitcoins directly, but you are gaining an opportunity of winning the jackpot (which right now is more than 2BTC and in the future can be huge) and get many more bitcoins than you will win in all other signature campaigns together.

So now they are paying  with hopes and promises? But it is a good way to promote  I will give them that. Most people would like to earn some hard currency tho... not opportunity to win some.
