Can you provide a valid collateral ? I think the source code of your platform does not worth $150 .

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I've gotten offers to purchase source code upwords of $200, however, I need this loan so I can make this project public for everyone to use.

Have the people offering you the price give you the loan then as they're clearly valuating this more then most of us here.

I don't want to sell this project, that is why I won't accept $200 offer to purchase the software. It is my project, and I plan on getting a website up with it, a server running so everyone can use this software for secure communications.

Your secure communication software will never be popular unless you release the source code so people can see if you are spying on them.

Since you have to release the source code for free, you cannot put a value on it.   Undecided

Meh.  I'll take a shot.

Find a trusted escrow willing to do it, send him the source code, get him to verify it, and then get him to send me a bitcoin address to send to.

Yeah, that's just because I got swatted and they broke my door and had to pay for new one. I will however still be paying him back, but I'm just going to be late as I have to deal with IRL issue of being swatted, police, etc.

These sounds kinda familiar excuses for my ears what I've just heard. People just remember to loan ONLY when you KNOW you're going to be able to pay back the loan giver. Do not "thinks when you can pay back" rather "know when you can pay back". There is a big difference. And it's always some catastrophe what happens to happen right when you have a loan ongoing. What a coincidence.  Roll Eyes
