Hope this information is helpful in anyway, its a bit of generic information about the event, nothing specifically about who specifically paid which amounts.

Even though it won't get the attention of the Rose Bowl or Sugar Bowl, the naming of this one will likely give pause and interest over and above what the other random bowl games get. Keep in mind, it's this time of year when sports fans are really in their glory so hopefully the PR goes well here.

I'm impressed - this is a great marketing idea!

May not get traction this year, but in a couple of years, it may get huge.

I wish them the best of luck!

For all fans in attendance at the Bitcoin bowl:

I will be freeze-framing my video all during the game.  Any time I can find a QR code in the crowd - I am sending some bitcoin.  All QR codes having a valid bitcoin address behind them qualify.

Further, I challenge all bitcoiners to do the same.  Everyone can push down a few bitcoin to friendly bitcoiners in attendance and supporting the first Bitcoin bowl!!!  Pledge your support here.

I especially think Galippi ought to get behind this idea.  It will double the press exposure when there is a 'free money' scheme to talk about. People really like free money.
