Each shop has its own exchange rate? That just won't happen. They may offer their own individual discount on certain items, but not an exchange rate.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.
The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Advertising a "currency" and then delivering a "payment processing system" is fraud.

+1

Currencies: Bitcoin, Linden Dollars, US Dollars, Euros, Gold coins.

Payment systems : Bitcoin, Paypal, Dwolla, Facebook Credits, MintChip, and now Kurrenci

Some things are a currency, and some things are a payment system. Bitcoin is actually both, while systems claiming to be "digital currencies" like MintChip and Kurrenci are actually just payment systems for a specific currency (CAD and USD, respectively).

https://kurrenci.com/public/terms-of-use.aspx

I especially love the sections "Unilateral Service Revocation" and "Indemnification", which basically say that Kurrenci.com can suspend your account, hold the money, or otherwise screw you over at any time, and there's legally nothing you can do about it.

It's everything I love about PayPal, and more!  At least PayPal has to give you the money back after 6 months.

Has anyone wathced that "explainatory" video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8igl34Ip0Gg&feature=player_embedded

I think they estimate their audience being complete infantile retards for making such a dummy cartoon!
Really, it explains nothing and that woman narrator seems like just out of daycare.
