I am interested in possibly acquiring a bitcoin loan of about 1000 BTC. I would pay back monthly with bitcoins. I am a trusted member of the community, and am active on the forums and IRC. Would anyone offer me the loan, at how much interest and with what conditions attached?

23 posts, not even registered with gribble (in -otc) (10:36am] MysteryBanshee: im too lazy to use gribble).

I'm sorry, but how does that amount to "active and trusted".

Please tell me if I'm missing anything here.  1000 BTC just seems like a hell of a lot for a loan with almost no feedback.

My point exactly.  All he's done to get himself "trusted" is give away like 2 bitcoins in IRC.

Also:
[10:45am] MysteryBanshee: danieldaniel: i dont really care if peopel distrust me
[10:45am] MysteryBanshee: i know im trustworthy

I see that as a warning sign, no offense.  If he doesn't care if people trust him, well, why would he care to pay the 1000 btc loan back.

Everything about this guy reeks. Everything aforementioned seems sufficient reason to not loan him.  /thread

You're either really naive, or the worst scammer I've seen.

Try applying a loan at your local bank or http://www.lendingclub.com/ without giving your ID, and you'll know why nobody will give you a loan.

I can vouch for mystery2048. I loan him 5000 BTC in May and he paid back the next week with 15% interest. Honest A++ trader!! Would not hesitate to loan him again.

I have no idea who 2D is and I never borrowed that money... I am being honest to show you that I am trustworthy... Either way, I have decided to withdraw my lending request and goto a real high street bank with my ID... Smiley

Now look! You've gone and made some other scammer waste one of his pre-built sock-puppets just to add fuel to the fire. Mystery- ain't nobody stupid enough to lend $6500 to a complete stranger with no documentation whatsoever based on his somewhat erratic word that he is trustworthy. Cutting your request to $1500 just makes you look that much shadier and greedy.

Try doing several dozen 2-5 btc deals, build up some reputation FOR REAL, learn about the community, be a part of the community, insted of just telling us your line of nonsense about how long you have been here, and you might build up the credentials to ask for a 50 btc loan. Do several of those and you might get up to the 100's, rinse and repeat until you are a truly proven solid citizen, and people know a little bit about your repayment habits... then, and only then you might have some chance of scoring a 1000 btc loan. Until then, you are just the next in a long line of junior guymen scammers who is trying to float a load of bullshit hoping to find somebody stupid enough to flush his funds down a toilet named mystery2048.
