you should never buy when a coin is being pumped.

I made that mistake a few times. It's a big gamble but if you get lucky the price might keep going up. I remember selling some vert coins after the price had gone up 15x because I thought it was peaking. Unfortunately for me it went up another 10x after I sold, so whoever brought them got a bargain.

Stellar may of been the other Ripple. It shot up once then crashed again. It may go up again soon.

I'm sure people said the same when Litecoin pumped to a few dollars and then rocketed to 40+.

I'm sure people said the same when Litecoin pumped to a few dollars and then rocketed to 40+.

I heard the litecoin dev said he sold most of his at about $2 because he simply did not believe their price could go any higher!

You were lucky to get profit, Most people get burned while buying when the coin is pumped. Smiley

I have never been able to spot the top in any of the alts I have traded, but spotting the bull trap is easier.  This is my personal strategy.  Buy consistently on the way up.  Hold through the first big dip and sell into the trap.
