I'm working on an altcoin derived from the Darkcoin source.  Upon attempting to rename the .git root directory, I was faced with the usual scenario where there are open file handles that need to be closed before proceeding (with TortoiseGit being the usual suspect).  I open up Process Explorer and search for any handles to C:\dev\darkcoin and am shocked to find that chrome.exe has a handle open to

C:\dev\darkcoin\.git\objects\pack\*.idx
C:\dev\darkcoin\.git\objects\pack\*.pack

Why does Chrome care about the index and pack files in this repo?  Queue your conspiracy theories please...

This post sums up why all this bullshit is a scam
Read It. Hate It. Change the facts that it represents.
