I just had this idea and thought I'd ask. Share your story!

Non-denominational Christian here. No, I don't pray for Bitcoin. Don't like the idea that people call on God when they want something. Just my opinion...

I can pray harder than any of you bitches.

I'm the piousest [sic] guy the little Amletts want to be like
On my knees day and night scoring points for the afterlife
So don't be vain, and don't be whiney
Or else my brother might have to get medieval on your hiney

Grin Weird Al saves the day.

Dear Lord Baby Jesus, we'd also like to thank you for Atlas. We hope that you can use your baby Jesus powers to heal him and his horrible acne. It smells terrible and the dogs are always bothering with it...

While I do not beleive bitcoins has much to do with religion, it seems the US 20 dollar bill has "In god we trust", so the idea of trust in god and trust in currency being related is not new. I place my trust in god that my decisions are righteous and follow his will.

You sacrificed only 1 GOAT ? OMG!

You are obviously not devoted enough, you should take a trip to the Gadhimal festival in Nepal to really let the sacrifices surround you.

A quarter million animals gets slaughtered there, how's that for preventing a 51 ?? Wink

Maybe we should do like L. Ron Hubbard and start our on Church. Which sounds better,
The Bitcoin Church
or the
The Church of Cryptography
If done properly we can get tax-exempt status just like Scientology. OK. All set.
I'm selling High Priest credentials for the low, low price of just 999.99 BTC. But wait! There's much, much more! If you send bitcoins within the next 10 minutes, I'll double your order for free! That's right, you'll get High Priest credentials for you and someone else with genuine certificates of authenticity. (just pay separate processing fee). Just call 1-800-CryptoMe or send your bitcoins to
148dSrU47p895y6mRjTuSkc3sEua17CdcY

You can't win if you don't play. But you can't play if you lose all your chips. First I found bitcoin (BTC). Then I found something better, Monero (XMR). See GetMonero.org

In high school, my physics teacher introduced me to Jehovah Witness. In the mid '80s I attended Unity (the same Church that Bruce Wagner attends). Today, at 52, I lean toward Atheism, but would entertain the thought of participating in a Raëlism movement once a year.

C'est tout! (i4t)

What appears to us through math and science models is only a glimpse of existence through blurry optics. The self-similarity of nature seems to permeate the fabric of existence. I doubt that we can know everything, but we may create something in our own image that is able to understand even more than we.  Maybe that's what being a parent/God is.

Would that be advocating drug abuse?
