Add "I have nothing to hide" option, thanks!

If you have nothing to hide can you please post all you email addressees with their usernames and password, I'd also like to peruse your bank account transactions, so can you also include your online bank login details... While you're at it can you post your social networking details and open them up to the public (Facebook etc)... Also throw in any other personal details you can think of i.e details of family members, your medical history, your home address, where you work etc...

Don't worry I won't steal any money, I just want to know everything you're doing and all your past personal history...

You can call me Mr Facebook and I may sell this information to companies you would not want to have it 😉

I think you see my point! Privacy is a right for good reason.

If you post these details I'll believe you really have nothing to hide, if you don't I'll believe you have come to realise how much your privacy means to you.

The type of people that don't care about government (or any form of) invasion of privacy, under the guise of keeping us safe because they have 'nothing to hide', are the exact same type of people that allowed Hitler to rise to power.

XMR is approaching usable privacy, gradually.  I2P integration will be a watershed event.  Please support development.

SDC nothing even comes close, and it's built from scratch not a bytecoin clone.

Raw demo footage captured in real time and edited to avoid waiting during confirmations.

Two separate wallets (sender and receiver) were used, one situated on a VM.

I want to vote for ShadowCash (SDC) also.  But I don't know how to vote, is it over?

For those who don't know ShadowCash yet, this is how it works: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1yX2jN618Rnzs4g2ri_utdKdHbny6-xnRcPhOuhLNGB0/edit?pli=1#slide=id.g577a31a2a_086

Also white paper is here: http://shadow.cash/downloads/shadowcash-anon.pdf

Also ShadowCash has the first GUI wallet for a cryptonote based anon-coin.  The wallet is amazing and has an encrypted messaging system called ShadowChat built into it as well.  They plan to add voice, video, and file support in the future too. The devs have also created the first ever proof-of-stake Android wallet.  Also the devs have decided the next implementation will be a decentralized marketplace inside the wallet, kind of like OpenBazaar.  Yet the anonymity SDC affords over BTC offers even more potential for this new marketplace.

Pretty cool project for the lack of attention it has gotten so far.  Check it out: http://shadow.cash/

I don't use any coin for that feature. But if I did, it would be Monero. I support it fully!

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

What? There have been many different cryptonote GUI wallets released over the last 6 months or so.

There have?  Which ones?  I know Monero does not have a GUI wallet, but only a web based wallet.  But SDC wallet is amazing, with many advanced features like encrypted chat, and soon to be a decentralized marketplace.

Monero has more than one GUI. Just not an official one yet.

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

I know Boolberry has had a wallet for a long time now and they just had a guy redo it and upgrade it too. I don't know any details but I think Bytecoin(scam) and Quazar(dead?) had GUI wallets a long time ago too.

Also some dude made a windows .NET XMR wallet back in the summer. Like the person above said, it's just not an official wallet from the XMR devs.

i dont exist either, it seems.

also, if you dont own monero by now after all the things that happened around it on this forum the last months and price being so low, im sorry to say but you are not very smart.

look at what theymos says about monero :

I'm not usually interested in altcoins myself, but I can see how people can enjoy them. Most altcoin "investing" is a lot like gambling. I can see how trying to navigate and manipulate these tiny markets could be fun for a lot of people. These pump-and-dump altcoins aren't really competitors to Bitcoin: they're really a way of using your bitcoins to gamble. There are also a handful of technologically interesting altcoins like Monero, which I think are very useful for testing new ideas that might one day be incorporated into Bitcoin.

Other bitcoin devs have said similar things.

Go check it out. Otherwise you'll be as ashamed as those who considered bitcoin as monopoly money a few years ago

nope. it is as good a coin as the ptolemaic system was good to depict the cosmos. but do as you wish. you're free to believe anything you want. even if its wrong.

passive privacy system > any mixing system.

Why?

Because an active privacy system is subject to regulation.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card
