It's time to get an anonymous tally on where our forum friend's BTC balances. I'm really interested to see how many of us are early adopters vs. hitch-hiker's to the moon (the current/late adopters). By no means is this scientific but I'm assuming that majority of high count BTC owners acquired their coins during the early, more affordable years.

Feel free to share your stories of BTC acquisition - glory or war!

Don't bother leaving a comment about how many Bitcoins you personally have, because...umm...this is awkward....how do i say this without hurting feelings...THAT'S WHAT THE POLL IS FOR!

Whether you're hodling or folding, good luck to you in the New Year!

In Bitcoin we hope...BTC

P.S. only the posers lie...

+1
To get slightly better results, you can ask people not about their coins, but about other people's coins. Something like: "do you know personally anybody with >5 coins?" or "Among bitcoiners you know, how much bitcoins owns (in your opinion) the person you know the best?".

late adopters?

the currency is only 5 years old.. thats as bad as rejecting to adopt kids in foster homes that are not toddlers.. don't you understand in the first 5 years of life, currency and children are boring. its not until they start becoming independent and can think for themselves that you stop thinking of them as that little thing in the corner screaming for attention and start thinking of them as part of society.

so do not think that being 5yo is too old. but at the point where life in society truely begins

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

Bitcoin has a long life to live. But still, in this 5-year span, you can still classify as early or late adopter.

Exactly my thoughts. Most won't be as to many it wont matter who knows. I own and bought exactly 10 coins. I'm looking to earn some more, though.

There's no way you could get an accurate information out of doing this. For me, rather than knowing how many coins a person owns, what I'm always interested to know is how many persons actually own coins.

LOL. I don't know why but I laughed out loud at this, but I also usually lie in polls just for the lols.

Less than 1 for me. Hard to handle the swings.

What's hard about it? I thought it'd be less of a stress the less coins you have. Just hold it and I'm sure you'll see a decent return eventually.
