Also Ukraine has banned fiat or so I read and China has said that private currency can co-exist with govermment issued currency. MS also accepts Bitcoin(indirectly). Either way, all positive news lately, there was just bound to be some rise.

With all the fiat funny munny floating around this world there is only really one outcome and that is for bitcoin to go to infinity.

Based purely on the fundamentals of fiat currency vs that of bitcoin.

Game Over.

That or technical traders stopped pushing each other to sell.

I am still curious what does it mean by Ukraine by banning fiat?
If they did, then what do they  use?

I think if Russians were moving into bitcoin in a big way the price would be up a lot more than this.  Maybe in time, but I thought Russia made it difficult to buy bitcoin as well.

I think the revision of the new york bitlicense is a more likely cause

Unfortunately Russia seems to be one of the most complicated places to get Bitcoin for the average person, due to the relatively hard stance Russia has taken on Bitcoin. If you ask me this has been done exactly to counter-act what we're seeing now. A potential flight into Bitcoin, since their FIAT currency is toppling hard.

Are we going to act happy every time Bitcoin goes up a little while trending down? I don't really think Russia was the cause either, if Russia really jumps into Bitcoin ATH will be crashed pretty quick.

I'm gonna have to agree with that.  I thought the revision and also just the process getting closer to conclusion would cause an increase, and it did.  Everybody is waiting for clarity, before that there is no way big players will want to risk their image or more by playing with Bitcoin.

There's no such thing as "Ukraine has banned fiat"... that's just ridiculous... please let's be cautious before spreading misinformation that ultimately will just embarass the bitcoin community.
