Belarus slaps 30 percent fee at currency exchanges:

http://news.yahoo.com/belarus-slaps-30-percent-fee-currency-exchanges-123115204--finance.html

How Ripple Rips you: "The founders of Ripple Labs created 100 billion XRP at Ripple's inception. No more can be created according to the rules of the Ripple protocol. Of the 100 billion created, 20 billion XRP were retained by the creators, seeders, venture capital companies and other founders. The remaining 80 billion were given to Ripple Labs. Ripple Labs intends to distribute and sell 55 of that 80 billion XRP to users and strategic partners. Ripple Labs also had a giveaway of under 200 million XRP (0.002% of all XRP) via World Community Grid that was later discontinued.[29] Ripple Labs will retain the remaining 25 billion"

US dollars are also illegal as tender in Russia, yet when I was last in Moscow during the last depressive period everybody would require USD.

Bitcoins biggest opportunity is in places where it is banned, because it usually those places where there are other currency controls in place against the population.

Ruble is crashing and Russians are moving into Bitcoins driving the price up .. expect a new bull market for btc starting NOW

Oh.  Interesting.  Whats your explanation for the last 10 ten percent increases over the last three months?
You act as if this is a first.  It's been going between 320 and 450 repeatedly for the last several weeks.
Cracks me up how short sighted people are.

The same happens with all financial analysis. Try always want to assign a reason for a move, whereas sometimes the market is irrational and does things without old reason.

With Bitcoin's volatility, a 10% move is not that extraordinary.
Gains seem to have been given up now.

Yeah. Although the Russian economy might have triggered a little bump, the 10% increase isn't really uncommon.

If you look at the charts, this has happened before countless number of times.

They afraid bitcoin will become strong in their country

Let me see, Scrypt algorithm with 15% PoS & 144 million coin will be created.
I bet this coin price never reach 5 bits

Most country coins get pumped and dumped.
