It's a great prisoner's dilemma experiment.  Since micropayments work great with bitcoin, they can have real stakes for us playing!

I was only sorry I only got to play once.  I would have been fun to have faced an iterated game.

Thanks for this link!

Looks like I have come a bit late to participant in the experiment. Tongue

That's great news,

I think 2015 will be the part of rinse and repeat's "rinse" part again. I hope to see new highs in the middle of next year. I love to see "bitcoin" concept near the terms of "science".

selamlar olsun.

Bit coin is already revolutionary so why not put next to something that could be revolutionary to right!

Considering some people go to great lengths trying out faucets and what not, to get that amount. Seems, like a decent reward to me.

That's true. I guess paying out thousands of dollars in Bitcoin isn't economic.

Well, looks like the experiment has ended; they're still accepting the survey but payments are over.

10 mBTC isn't huge, but what's important is that they thought of using Bitcoin as a reward, opening a new way of using Bitcoins.

It's a funny question they've put up. Don't really see what result they will get out of the questions, but hey ho. Will report back if I happen to get the reward paid out.

I didn't know this was still active. Last time I checked, it was disabled.

Nonetheless I participated today. But it says "Payouts are already scheduled to take place by December 31st 2014."

As expected no payouts. Has anyone (who did it before 31st of december) received an email with results or something as a follow-up? I'd be interested in the results Smiley

Anyone else notice if you refresh the study it changes the percentage rewarded after the coin toss?  I saw 50%/50%, 100%/0% and 75%/25%.

I only thought about changing my response to not invest when at 100%/0%

According to http://www.bitcoinassociation.ch/blog/bitcoins-for-science-update/, 124 participants got the verification questions correct and 65 of them received a payment on Dec 31. So either you made a careless mistake or you are one of those 59 unlucky guys.

And btw, I participated in the experiment back then and did receive a payment. Smiley
